Mercedes Benz released details of the new B Class to debut next month at the Frankfurt Auto Show. Newest Class B is lower than the current model, giving a sleeker appearance.
Mercedes said the car will feature the brand new technology that has never offered before the launch of this new generation of cars. “There is no paradigm shift in the history of Mercedes-Benz who has seen many new developments introduced in one fell swoop,” said Thomas Weber, head of brand development, in a statement.
The Mercedes B Class will be offered with a new series of engines from 1.6 liter four-cylinder engines and direct fuel injection, Internally Known as the M270-122 and 156 horsepower.

The system uses visual and audible warnings to alert the driver distracted from the potential dangers, and prepares the brakes for a precise answer.
The car will also offer first Mercedes PreSafe system. This system was initially launched in the S Class in 2002.
With a height of 1557mm, the most recent B Class is 50mm lower than the current model. The height of the seat relative to the track has been reduced by 8mm to facilitate access to the vehicle. The high position of the front seat is maintained due to the preference of drivers, but enjoy a more upright position, according to Mercedes.
The B Class is the first model based on the new front-wheel drive Mercedes MFA (Modular Front Architecture) platform in a compact car.
The new model will be arriving to the European market in November. It is unlikely to be sold in the U.S., where hatchbacks are not popular. However, U.S. buyers may also have coupe and SUV models produced on the same basis of the MFA.
